Michaele LeCompte is a shape shifter in the studio, never tentative, ever exploring and developing. This new body of work reflects new direction and is delightful and exotic. Her use of bright color continues, along with symbols and patterns that intersect in abstract narratives. LeCompte received her MFA from Mills College and has enjoyed an illustrious career as an educator at Sacramento City College. Recently retired, she is enjoying more time in the studio so don’t miss this new offering! Her work can be found in many collections, including the Sacramento Kings Executive Offices, University of California Davis Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, to name a few.
