This Spring, JAYJAY is featuring two floral inspired artists; paintings by Mary Warner and ceramic sculpture by Kris Lyons.

Mary Warner is a very skillful painter of a dramatic version of realism. Her large-scale flower portraits invite the viewer into the heart of her blossoms with breath-taking colors that push dramatic dimensions onto each and every petal. When viewing up close, the flower’s form disappears into vibrant blocks of color and simple geometric shapes. Lovely curved lines harmonize to create beautifully rendered flowers that one can almost inhale. Warner received her MA at CSU Sacramento in 1974.
