JAYJAY is widely considered to be the best contemporary fine art gallery in the region. Begun in a storefront on Franklin Boulevard in January 2001, it soon became apparent that this gallery would raise the bar for all exhibition spaces in the Sacramento area. The sensibility of the two owner/director/curators, Beth Jones and Lynda Jolley, led them to explore art movements and genre beyond Northern California landscape and Bay Area figurative painting.  With their move to East Sacramento in September 2002 the partners have continued to launch challenging exhibits of not only their well-established stable but also introduction shows from the best graduate programs of the region, as well as innovative exhibits by guest curators. JAYJAY has survived so far this economic downturn and is celebrating 10 years of taste making and connoisseurship with JAYJAY NOW and then, an exhibit of new and 10 year vintage works by gallery artists.
